MY STORY

How I started

 

I have loved baking since elementary school. I still remember baking the very first cake at the age of 10. Instead of using cake flour, I used my mom's corn flour for cooking as I thought all white colour powder are flours. I then shared the corn flour cake with my sister where both of us ended up with food poisoning. This did not stop me from loving baking and the passion stayed with me throughout the years. After finishing secondary school, I enrolled myself at Cake Art & Culinary Academy. After graduating from the academy, I picked one of my favourite and reputable hotels - Hyatt Regency to have my internship.

 

To further my study, I got into Distance Learning Nutrition Diploma Course in order to learn and equip myself with more knowledge about food and the impact they can have on human being.

 

I started to bake as a home-baker at the end of year 2014. I trained myself each and every day. Recipe books, information from Internet and Food-network channel on the telly were my best companions and helpers! Some of my favourite chefs are Dominique Ansel, Marry Berry, Alton Brown, Michael Smith, Anna Olson, Nigella and Giada.
